Pupils are empowered to take responsibility through a personalised curriculum supported by secure systems.

The Workplace is a newly opened Alternative Provision (AP) Free School, focussing on founding principles of rigour, enterprise, industry and partnerships. The Workplace offers high quality vocational education in industry standard settings, alongside high quality delivery of core Maths, English and Science. You will be a confident classroom practitioner, with experience of working with young people in formal educational settings. This role would suit a Teaching Assistant 3 or Higher Level Teaching Assistant/Senior Mentor, who aspires to become a qualified teacher within an AP setting. You will have an inclusive view of education and be willing to develop your teaching approach in line with the strategic direction of the Trust and the school.

The successful candidate will be a strong team player and be committed to raising the standards within the school. This is a rare opportunity to join us and be part of our expanding team, which provides an outstanding service for pupils across East Sussex.

We welcome visits to our school (during term time) and if you would like to see us or have an informal telephone discussion prior to submitting an application, please contact recruitment@sabden.org.uk

The successful candidate will be joining a Trust and school that continues to be ambitious in its drive to improve outcomes for our pupils.
