Uniform

College Central uniform/dress code policy

Key stage 3:

Uniform;

  • Plain black or dark trousers (no logos, no jeans or leggings)
  • College Central white polo shirt or plain white polo shirt
  • College Central jumper

Uniform will be provided for pupils at key stage 3 at no cost, however any item that needs replacing will need to be paid for.

If a student is not in uniform their options are:

  1. Borrow some from school in exchange for a phone/bus pass etc which they will get back upon return of the borrowed item.  If they refuse;
  2. Parent/carer is contacted and agrees to bring in correct uniform for the pupil to change into and the pupil waits with SLT/Key stage lead until uniform is changed.
  3. If they refuse then the student will be internal isolated* for the day and parents will bring them in appropriately dressed the next day for a meeting with SLT.
  4. If they refuse to engage with this process and follow the instructions of SLT they are out of our control and arrangements will be made to send them home to return the next day with parent/carer for a meeting with SLT

*internal isolation where possible, where this is not possible students will go straight to step 4
